Client Enham Registered Charity

ArchitecturePLB was appointed to design a new trainee accommodation building as part of an extension to existing residential care facilities for Enham, a charity providing specialist vocational training for disabled people in the UK. The new facility, named Coopers Chase, offers residents the opportunity to establish financial and social independence, acting as a stepping stone from an institutional environment to life in the community. The new facility contains 10 semi-independent studio flats, specially equipped to accommodate the needs of the trainees on 44-52 week vocational training courses, with additional communal facilities, a staff sleep over room and ancillary services.
