Designing the fit-out for the new ArchitecturePLB London studio provided a great opportunity to put into practice our intelligent design approach. Our design makes the available floorplate work hard, a variety of settings have been provided to accommodate different workstyles and task demands. Attractive group spaces facilitate and encourage collaboration and communication, the interior design is fresh and appealing reflecting the importance of a high-quality work place in inspiring and retaining those who work within the company.

Space for display of work (models, materials, drawings) is integral to the design, important both for showing off our work to visitors and for aiding the exchange of ideas about emerging designs and current projects. Facilitated by a movable wall, the layout provides a large group space with pin-up and projection that can accommodate seminars and events.

The efficient open plan desk area is complemented by enclosed spaces for noisy or private activities as well as areas for collaborative working or socialising.

Every space works hard, a quiet alcove provides seating for visitors as well as discreet storage.
