Since joining ArchitecturePLB in 2004, Paul has developed his interest in sustainable design that started whilst studying at the University of Portsmouth. He was winner of the ‘ArchitecturePLB Sustainability Prize’, awarded to a final year graduate for innovation and excellence in approach to sustainability. Paul has maintained this focus on sustainability, having been a CfSH Assessor and now being an accredited PassivHaus Designer.

Paul has extensive experience of designing and delivering a range of housing schemes, these include affordable, private and one-off developments, as well as larger urban regeneration schemes such as the Monksbrook Regeneration in Eastleigh. He has also led a number of projects which focus on sustainable design, including Quebec Park in Bordon Whitehill EcoTown, and Wharf House, the first PassivHaus in Hampshire, located in the heart of Winchester’s Conservation Area.

Paul has recently been expanding his sustainable design skills into the education sector, including the development of Further and Higher Education facilities. Projects include the successful delivery of Eastleigh College’s new Hair & Beauty, Art & Design and Advanced Technology Blocks.
