Matthew's experience encompasses a diverse range of projects in terms of scale and complexity. At ArchitecturePLB, he focused primarily on residential and student accommodation projects. Notably, he lead the design for Stapleton House, a significant student housing development in Islington, London, completed in September 2016. Additionally, Matthew led a challenging student accommodation project in central London, demonstrating his adeptness at navigating complex constraints.

His expertise extends beyond design, encompassing exceptional organizational skills and a keen ability to collaborate effectively with clients, local authorities, design teams, and contractors. Matthew plays a pivotal role within the practice, contributing his technical strengths to both the BIM and technical groups. Matthew is also an active member on the Test Valley Design Review Panel.

Matthew was a scuba diving instructor and will jump at the opportunity to get back in the water. In his spare time, he is currently learning and advancing his skills in Brazilian jujitsu, which is only a little less dangerous than the rugby that he used to play until fairly recently! In contrast, he likes to spend time on his allotment. And, above all else, Matthew loves to spend time with his wife, two children and the dog, Teazel.
