SPUD Youth mentored by APLB staff

Our Winchester studio has been selected as the local practice partner, for the SPUD Youth initiative in Winchester.

SPUD is a an award winning extra-curricular programme run for young people (14 upwards) interested in architecture, urban design and public art. Participants will have the opportunity to work with architects and designers in real studios. They will learn a breadth of new skills and knowledge that will enhance their existing studies, add significantly to their portfolios and help them stand out from others particularly in terms of college applications.

For this session up to the end of summer term they are looking at the area around Winchester station, the study will culminate in a series of presentations by the young people to invited guests including; local business people, planners and politicians.
