HEDQF members visit the University of Kent

Date posted: September 19, 2017

As a founder member of the Higher Education Design Quality Forum, ArchitecturePLB works to promote good design in the sector. This includes developing and sharing best practice knowledge through thought leadership events and reference visits to university buildings of particular interest in the UK and overseas.

Associates Emily Rissom and Andrew Fifield visited the University of Kent Canterbury Campus last week to see how the 1960s campus is being updated to accommodate the university’s plans for future growth and investment. In line with other universities across the UK new synergies and efficiencies of collocating departments are being explored and new student destinations being created.

The visit was an opportunity for HEDQF members including built environment professionals and university clients to come together to discuss good quality design. For more information on the work of the HEDQF please visit their website.
