HEDQF Belfast Workshop

Date posted: October 25, 2013

As part of the ongoing initiative to develop a program of workshops with estates professionals within the University sector, four members of the HEDQF facilitated a workshop for Queens University Belfast and colleagues of other local institutions. The aim was to assist project teams within Universities to improve the quality of smaller projects.

Ideas generated through the workshop included: ‘don’t walk by’ where all university team members should recognise and report things they notice, whether a maintenance problem or unsightly workmanship, to looking at the retail sector for relevant examples of how to maintain consistently high standards in many different building types. Chaired by Ian Caldwell, the workshop was facilitated by Julian Robinson, Ian Goodfellow and one of our Directors Rupert Cook.
