Green Sky Thinking with Overbury at LSE LIFE

Date posted: April 27, 2017

ArchitecturePLB Associate Emily Rissom will be participating in a discussion organised by Overbury as part of next month’s Green Sky Thinking.

In collaboration with the LSE, Overbury’s Head of Environmental and Sustainability, Dr Joe Croft, will chair the discussion which is entitled “SKA for Higher Education: exploring the new benchmark for sustainable fit outs”. It will be held in LSE LIFE, the new academic, personal and professional development centre housed within LSE Library, which is the latest in a programme of works delivered by Overbury and ArchitecturePLB for the School. The project was completed using SKA rating to create a sustainable working environment for staff and students. Opportunities for sustainability within the higher education sector’s property portfolio will be discussed and the challenges of working across multi-use spaces explored.

The event takes place on Tuesday 16th May, from 8.30am to 10.30am, and breakfast will be provided. Full details can be found on the Green Sky Thinking website.
