An egg-cellent practice day

Date posted: March 28, 2018

Last week our London and Winchester studios came together for our Spring Practice Day. These happen twice a year and are an opportunity to share current projects and practice news. Project teams gave presentations on their schemes covering their design approach and any challenges overcome. A few of the projects highlighted were a new primary school and estate rationalisation project for Mary Hare School, a Health Centre funded by the development of housing, and a new Headquarters for Biosciences company Promega.

We were well fed by the Winchester team throughout the day, and there was a vast array of home made cake and dessert on offer!

As usual the day ended in a team building activity. This time we were tasked with building a boat propelled by a simple steam powered engine which could carry two eggs along a stretch of plastic guttering. Points were awarded for speed, creativity and egg-based puns.
