Emily joined the practice as a senior architect in 2004 and has led a number of significant projects within the Higher Education sector. Amongst those are a campus-wide masterplan, new build and refurbishment projects for the University of London’s Royal Veterinary College. Emily is currently managing projects for Kingston University as part of our framework appointment and ongoing work for the LSE.
Emily has acquired an impressive expertise and detailed knowledge of Higher Education client requirements, as well as experience coordinating the designs of highly complex buildings. She is able to communicate clearly and engage with all stakeholders, and these skills were particularly key to gaining planning for a Heritage Lottery Fund project at Lloyd Park in east London celebrating the life and work of William Morris due for completion this summer.
Emily has special interests in the concepts of inclusive and multisensory design and has developed particular expertise in designing interiors, supported by research in the use of colour in architecture. She is a member of the office technical and Higher Education special interest groups.
